The Facility

Charters Towers Self Storage is a purpose built storage facility consisting of 83 storage units in 10 different sizes.

• Small Units

  • 1.0m x 1.0m – lockers
  • 1.5m x 2.0m
  • 1.5m x 3.0m (holds 2-3 rooms)

• Medium Units

  • 3.0m x 3.0m (is ideal for a small home or a two bedroom apartment)
  • 3.0m x 3.5m
  • 2.5m x 4.5m
  • 3.0m x 4.0m

• Large Units

  • 3.0m x 4.5m
  • 3.0m x 6.0m (is suitable for a larger home or a car. It would also suit a commercial customer who requires archive storage or would be ideal for tradesmen’s equipment)

Access to the facility is through an electronic security gate. Each storer is issued with a pin number that is linked to the security system.

Charters Towers Self Storage can also offer individually alarmed units if a higher level of security is required.

The facility is monitored using CCTV system which automatically records movements on the site.
